For general workshop cleanup
A larger-capacity wet-dry vacuum with a manual mode may be more practical if you will frequently pick up loose debris, spills, or larger chips. The tool-triggered outlet is helpful when connected to a corded tool, but it should not be the only feature guiding the purchase.
Troubleshooting the automatic outlet
The vacuum does not start with the tool
